II Polish Ground Golf Open 2026

II Polish Ground Golf Open – 3–4 September 2026, Jozefow

More than one hundred ground golf players from Poland and abroad will gather at the beginning of September in Józefów, near Warsaw, for the II Polish Ground Golf Open.

Ground golf, originating from Japan, is recognised there as one of the country’s national recreational sports. Although still relatively new in Poland, its popularity is growing rapidly – driven by international tournaments and the expanding activity of European clubs. Its simple rules, accessibility for all ages, and strong social character make ground golf an increasingly appreciated discipline worldwide.

This year’s edition will welcome participants from Poland, Spain, Hungary, Germany, South Korea, Japan, and Mongolia. Such a diverse international line‑up highlights both the rising global significance of ground golf and the prestige of the event hosted in Józefów. The tournament’s international reach is made possible through close cooperation within the European Ground Golf Committee, operating under the auspices of the International Ground Golf Federation based in Yurihama, Japan – the birthplace of ground golf.

The event is initiated by Ground Golf Jozefow under the patronage of the Mayor of Józefów, and co‑organized by AGI Warsaw, Ground Golf Somianka, and Gdansk Ground Golf Club, with support from the Józefów Integrative Centre for Sport and Recreation.

Sponsors include Z-Hotel Business & Spa, Flexus®, and Silverado.

The II Polish Open will take place on the recreational and sports grounds of the Jozefovia club, which has long supported the development of this innovative discipline.

The project is co‑financed by the City of Jozefow.
